This Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is an excellent example of one of the most iconic and historically significant chronographs ever produced. Dating from October 2022, this watch is in excellent pre-owned condition and is supplied with two black straps – an Omega black nylon strap and an Omega black leather strap, with the leather strap being in new condition. The watch is keeping excellent time and combines Omega’s legendary Moonwatch design with the modern Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 movement.

 

Originally introduced in 1957 as a professional sports and racing chronograph, the Speedmaster became internationally famous after being selected by NASA and worn by astronauts during the Apollo missions. It was the first watch worn on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, earning it the enduring title of “Moonwatch.” The modern 3861-equipped Speedmaster retains the unmistakable design of the original while incorporating Omega’s latest Master Chronometer technology.
